As a wedding photographer and an almost San Diego native, I love photographing weddings on Mission Bay. There are many Mission Bay or Pacific Beach locations to choose from when you are planning your wedding. They all have their unique features that make them special and The Dana is no exception.
The Dana has large rooms for wedding prep and getting ready with your bridesmaids and groomsmen. It also has a huge outdoor wedding ceremony framed by palm trees overlooking the bay. It's a little more private than the Bahia or the Catamaran (which I love!) so it's ideal if you want to be on the bay and have a water backdrop but also want to make sure you don't have too many public spectators. There's nothing like the shirtless beach goer making an appearance at your wedding, right? lol
The Dana also has a great ballroom for an indoor reception as well as an outdoor reception area for dancing under the stars!
